Oscars 2005
Crash won yesterday Best Film Award in the Oscars. I´m sure that in the next days everybody will go to the cinemas to see the film that before they have ignored, blinded by Brokeback Mountain I saw Crash in english last month and I really had a crush on this amazing film. It´s a deep reflection of what we are making with ourselves in this crazy, arrogant and assertive world, who has forget values as important as tolerance and solidarity. Also racism... Well, is not the only thing that film tries to express. Crash is more than that.
Brokeback Mountain is not a bad movie, but I was so bored at the beginning. Also has an excess of drama in the end. I think that critics would think that they´ve cleaned their hands mentioning this film, and trying also to give us the image that they´re not intolerant at all. Huh, I don´t suck my thumb, dears.
Reese Witherspoon best actress? :SSSSS No comments, I envy her luck, besides having Ryan Phillipe as husband xD Huffman is better. Between Gyllenhaal and Clooney I prefer Gyllenhaal, and I´m a crazy fan of George but Jake´s last interpretations were great. He´s the best of "Brokeback Mountain", no doubt. I don´t like Heath Ledger, neither himself in the cowboy´s movie, so I´m happy that Hoffman won best actor.
I´ll be totally glad the day that Hollywood begin to admit that George Clooney is more than a fucking gourgeous man.
